Highlights
Mountain Goat TruRacs have been completely redone. All Mountain Goat horn models have been rebuilt from the ground up. No populations were harmed in the remastering. Existing animals on your reserve will simply shed their current horns to grow the new ones.
Tiger AI has been adjusted to make them more clever when they sense they're in danger of being spotted by you.
Dog AI has been updated to act more naturally around water. Expect less awkward hopping, better idling behavior when exiting water, and smoother transitions when sprinting into a shallow swim.
Game Feeders should once again attract animals as they used to.
Tents can now be placed on slightly steeper inclines.
Several system optimizations have been made to reduce memory usage and improve overall stability, particularly for players on older or memory-limited hardware. The optimized systems include: Terrain, Trophy Lodge, Animals, Maps, and Structures.
Bug Fixes
Animals
- Fixed Grizzly Bear footprints looking like hoofprints instead of pawprints.
- Fixed a Whitetail stomach mesh that was deforming unnaturally during movement, causing shading and clipping issues.
- Fixed Whitetail deer elbows and shoulder bones breaking unnaturally in movement.
- Fixed an issue where the Collared Peccary's spinal cord would look disconnected in the rear and head areas on the harvest screen x-ray view.
- Fixed an issue where American Woodcock trophies would change colors in the lodge depending on graphics settings.
- Fixed an issue where European Badger and Mountain Goat eyes weren't pointing in the right directions.
- Fixed an issue with Bengal Tigers not playing call animations and sounds while walking.
- Fixed an issue where one of the large Moose TruRacs base models didn't have variations. This fix adds the appropriate variations and recalculates the scores to match. Any pre-existing trophies using this antler model won't have scores adjusted. Existing moose already on your maps may get their antlers rerolled.

- Fixed an issue where fleeing wolves in a pack would frequently turn around, stop, and start unnaturally.
- Fixed issues with the Brown Bear's skeleton appearing disconnected in x-ray view.

Since many of you hated the joke we had in the last patch notes, and I enjoyed seeing your upset reactions. Here's another one, this time from community moderator.
Jaguar: "Did you hear about the Jaguar that attacked a hunter?"
Hunter: "No, I did not."
Jaguar: "That is because I am a quiet jaguar."
[muffled sounds of Jaguar violence]
