If our Support Team has asked you to send your save files to help investigate a reported issue, please follow the instructions below for your platform.
PlayStation
You can copy your save files from your console to a USB drive.
Steps
- Transfer the save files from your PlayStation to a USB drive.
- Connect the USB drive to a PC to access the files.
- Submit the files by:
- Attaching them to your support ticket, or
- Replying to the support email.
If the files are too large:
Upload them to a cloud service (such as Google Drive) and include the download link in your support reply. Otherwise, you can simply submit a request attaching the files or include them in your reply to the support email.
PC- Save File Locations
- Steam, your save files are located in the following directory on:
C:\Users\%username%\Documents\Avalanche Studios\COTW\Saves\%SteamID%\
- EPIC Game Store, your save files are located in the following directory on:
C:\Users\%username%\Documents\Avalanche Studios\Epic Games Store\COTW\Saves\%EpicID%\
How to Submit
- Locate the Saves folder using the path above.
- Right-click the folder and compress / zip it.
- Send the zipped folder by:
Convert the 'Saves' Folder into a (zipped) folder. Submit a request attaching the zipped folder or simply include it in your reply to the support email.
Xbox One
Xbox save game data cannot be accessed or exported.
Because of this, we’re unable to receive save files from Xbox consoles.
